Very nice trail- lots of little crosswalks but well marked and felt safe crossing. Well kept trail
Wife and I had a nice ride through the trail. Will definitely be back. Nice area and plenty of benches along the way to sit and relax.
Started at Horseshoe Park, a County Park, to warm up for about 2 miles around. Pretty park, with a beach, however, not open to non-residents of the town. Overall, the riding surface varied too often. Biked the 1st mile or so south, on a wide cinder path, which was excellent, however, as you went further south, it changed to dirt, which was fine when it was dry mostly the case on a hot July weekend. Then it narrowed, then went through what felt like wagon, wheel, ruts, where you can only bike in narrow channels and hen widened at a few points. once or twice it was mud for a short distance. On a hot July day, it provided great tree cover, but was slightly buggy. You could tell that if it rained, it would be very buggy. was a very pleasant ride but not many varied things to see so it became a bit monotonous.
My mom and I walked this trial to start out our weekly trail walk as it was perfect. Just the right amount of elevation and distance to get a quick burn.
I have biked this trail many times since they opened.I like the fact that it is close enough for me to bike to from my house .Also I like that it connects Tamanend park Southampton and local shops.¿¿¿¿
Entered on Millstream. The first 4 miles were very pleasant, wide gravel which was firmly packed. Then it got a rather loose like pine barren sand. I have a hybrid so I was able to maneuver okay but my ride became a bit more stressful. Then after going through the tunnel under 195, the trail became less maintained and more narrow. It was a fun ride, especially since it was pretty straight. Several small bridges, farms and wooded. Very friendly people! It was an enjoyable trail but I doubt I will repeat.
Great ride on a Saturday mid - day. Went north from Washington’s crossing to bull island on NJ side over the pedestrian bridge and back on the Pa side. Be aware that on PA canal path there is a closure about 3 miles south of new Hope, right by the graves of Washington’s crossing , to continue the loop to NJ you either need to double back to Cross at new Hope or ride on rt32 south a few miles to return to the canal path.

I recommend taking Barnegat lake drive between Musket and South to avoid the section of the trail that is barely passable. The rest of the trail is really nice.
Was a very easy stroll. The parking lot has about 5 spaces and the path is fully paved. The trail is entirely flat and nicely winds along the creek and then in and out of a neighborhood. I clocked it at 1.8 miles out and back. The 2 small bridges can be very slick when wet so take your time.
I finally decided to check out HHT. I thought a Summer Saturday might be busy, but I was pleasantly surprised. I started at Highlands and headed west to Keyport. Very peaceful. Had a good ride and will definitely be back
