Roaring Creek Watershed

If you're looking for alittle variety...

August, 2024 by wdq2zz7bpq

away from the plain, crushed stone paths of some R/Ts, start from either end of the Roaring Creek Trail. The elevation changes up and down ever so slightly, providing added interest as you travel alongside 2 reservoirs, multiple picnic tables, a waterfall, and wildlife. The quietness while riding this trail is a welcomed bonus.

Power Line Trail (PA)

great path

Really nice path with tons of different parking options. Only downside is virtually no shade. Lots of bikers and dogs but plenty of runners too

Conewago Recreation Trail

Pretty, but Rough

July, 2024 by l.greybill1963

I've ridden all the trails in Lancaster County and this one was the roughest (and I don't mean difficulty, I mean rough as in large rocks instead of crushed gravel). I rode as far as the turnpike (6.5 miles), then headed back. The Lebanon trail is MUCH smoother. After the Enola Low Grade and Northwest River Trail (both of which are a dream), I was expecting a smoother ride. My dad used to say "rough as a cob" - and that describes this trail. Take along your muscle rub!!

Lincoln Drive Trail

Perfect beginner trail

My mom and I walked this trial to start out our weekly trail walk as it was perfect. Just the right amount of elevation and distance to get a quick burn.

Conewago Recreation Trail

Trail is a disgrace.

July, 2024 by jeger95

This trail isn’t suitable for human beings. Two skinny single tracks with mounds of large size gravel in the middle and scattered over the single tracks. You wouldn’t push a wheelchair or stroller over this crap. Cycling was tricky due to the gravel and tapered shoulders. Several large separations between trail and bridge decks. One of the richest counties in the state can do better.

Newtown Rail Trail

I have biked this trail many times since they opened.I like the fact that it is close enough for me to bike to from my house .Also I like that it connects Tamanend park Southampton and local shops.¿¿¿¿

Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park Trail

Loop from Washington’s crossing to bull island, be aware of closure in PA south of new hope

July, 2024 by lenvo65

Great ride on a Saturday mid - day. Went north from Washington’s crossing to bull island on NJ side over the pedestrian bridge and back on the Pa side. Be aware that on PA canal path there is a closure about 3 miles south of new Hope, right by the graves of Washington’s crossing , to continue the loop to NJ you either need to double back to Cross at new Hope or ride on rt32 south a few miles to return to the canal path.

Frick's Trail

Easy Stroll - Fully paved

July, 2024 by m_wetteland

Was a very easy stroll. The parking lot has about 5 spaces and the path is fully paved. The trail is entirely flat and nicely winds along the creek and then in and out of a neighborhood. I clocked it at 1.8 miles out and back. The 2 small bridges can be very slick when wet so take your time.

Roaring Creek Watershed

Nice trail but a little rough

July, 2024 by formy3grls

The trail is very nice and mostly shaded but the trail is a little rough. It is very bumpy. Scenic with the reservoir view near the end of the trail. Somewhat buggy.

Perkiomen Trail

Great trail. Well maintained and marked. Traveled from southern terminus to Green Park Lane. Loved the change in surfaces. More tressels than I expected which made for excellent photo opportunities. Only one real climb. Can't wait to do it again.
